Rescue Rangers

Rescue Rangers delves deep into the heart of the Savannah landscapes of wild Africa, as a rescue ranger, you must save the nearly-extinct White Rhino, along with the rest of the protected animals from sneaky and devious poachers that intend to hunt these animals down! Set in the grassy Savannah landscapes that perfectly captivates the vivid and picturesque background of Africa.

Go against all odds to save the animals, such as the beautiful and speedy cheetah, the curious and cheerful monkey, the massive water buffalo, the graceful and wondrous giraffe, the gentle giant elephant, and the king of the jungle himself; the regal lion! Test out your skills in dealing with these nasty poachers in Easy, Medium or Hard handicap settings. In collaboration with savetherhino.org, the game costs $1.99 in the App Store, and all proceeds and purchases made with the game will go to the said organization. The main objective of the game is to take on the role of the rescue ranger and hunt down all the poachers roaming around in the vast reserve where the wild animals are peacefully roaming around. The rescue ranger needs to hop into his dune buggy/jeep and ride around the reserve looking for poachers. When the player spots a poacher, his next objective is to approach that poacher near, get off the jeep and walk on foot, so as the ranger can wrestle down the poacher and lock him up inside the dune buggy/jeep.

The player needs to collect as much poachers as possible in order for them to prevent poaching other animals in the reserve. The more poachers the player captures, the better. The game also features a mini-map for the reserve, so as to make the process of hunting down these poachers an easier task. Animals are shown and represented in orange/yellow dots in the map, the ranger is a blue dot, and the poachers are represented as green dots. The game features three different game difficulties, and each level will test the player's skill and quick maneuverability in terms of capturing all of the poachers. Obstacles will become nearly impassable, and animals will often or in more than one occasion, block and hinder passages for the ranger's dune buggy/jeep.

To keep note in this game is that some animals can be passed through, and these are the small animals such as bugs, insects, etc. On the other hand, those animals that cannot be passed through, and would require for the ranger to either get out of its way or divert its course b taking another route or detour to travel on. These animals are usually the big wild ones found in Africa Savannah, such as lions, cheetahs, rhinos, buffaloes, and many others. Proper positioning and forethought are essentially basic skills a player must need to understand in order to successfully pass these stages.

You can also test out your skills by competing your scores against the ones listed on the leader board, or ask for a friend's help in capturing all of the poachers in multiplayer!
